Apologies if this one has already been started and I just didn't see it...

Didn't have the equipment or skills for today's WOD (Clean and Jerk for Max Effort), so I grabbed an old one off the website to do at home and cut it in half for scaling (didn't need to cut off so much, incredibly):

35 burpees
30 situps
25 KB swings (with 25lb plate)
20 pullups (modified kinda like the step 2 on this page http://www.stumptuous.com/cms/displayarticle.php?aid=51)
15 assisted handstand pushups (you don't even want to know how we figured out the assist. Suffice it to say it won't ever be done in public, lest people yell at us "Get a room! And a harness!"

OK, I'm a dope. Challenge is over Aug 1, but apparently, I'm up for continuing it if anyone else is...

I'm still with ya. Did Today's HQ WOD (although yours sounds more fun):

Clean and Jerk 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps

95-115-135-155-175-190(f)-190(f)-190(f)

Kind of light compared to the last time I did C&J singles in Feb. Got the cleans, but couldn't blast out of the bottom. Did WOD after a hot & hilly bike ride, so I'll blame it on that.

No I wanted to continue it through the end of the summer. Sorry I didn't get the post up Monday.

I've been slacking on CF, but doing core/back exercises daily while I sort out the back stuff. I'm feeling better and will probably do a CF this week again.

Cool! Glad you all are up for it! Also, it's good that your back is in better shape, AB. I'm sure your cat appreciates it.

Sport comments: Rx'ed:
Three rounds for time of:
Run 400 meters
65 pound Thruster, 30 reps
30 Pull-ups

Mine:
3x
400m run
30 thrusters x 17lbs
15 modified pullups

This one sucked. I wasn't feeling it. Had killer heartburn and annoying cramps. Oh well, it's done now. That's why I like CF... It sure hurts while you're doing it, but it's over fast.

CF WOD: Deadlift 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps

Post loads to comments.

Me:
Deadlift 95-115-135-145-155(f)-155(got it!)-160(f)

That's a PR! I'm now DLing more than my bodyweight! Cool! I did these sumo style because long legs relative to torso make it hard for me to not clock my knees.

Skipped the CrossFit this weekend. I was a little too accident-prone and didn't want to drop a medicine ball on my head while home alone...
