Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Hey y'all... I've just started logging ALL my food (I had forgotten how motivational it is to have a "holy crpp! did I really eat THAT much today??" kind of moment to curb hunger...) and had a question: How do foods get in the Frequent Food list? Seems to me that about 70% of the foods that I use regularly are there, but there are some foods listed that I think I only used once and other foods that I know I've put in multiple times in the last few days that are not listed. And - is there any way to edit this list? Not a huge deal, more of a convenience factor... As always - thanks for all the cool stuff here...

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I have always wondered what the rule is too... the frequent food list on my log never seems to reflect actual recent meals!
Thanks for any add'l info or tweaks to the feature, Rob. |

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Here is how it works currently: Top 20 most frequent foods or custom foods within the last 14 days. Other Whatever food make it to the frequent food dropdown are ranked in order of frequency. Does this help? If you can give me a specific example from your logs that appears in violation of this, I'll check it out. |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Okay - I think I have an example ... I went back through the last 14 days of my nutrition logs, and this is what I came up with: In the list, but shouldn't be: Not on the list, but should be: In the end, this isn't that big of a deal. What might be a nice feature (not sure if anyone else would agree), is either the ability to edit this list or maybe another drop down -- "Favorite Foods" -- that I can edit manually. I think that sometimes I will eat the same things, but because of the different, but very-similar sounding choices (for example, search for "chicken breast" and look at all the different choices you're presented with) will choose a slightly different option each time, so it doesn't make it onto the Frequent Food List. Make sense? It's early here, I could just be babbling. (note: edited for grammar) Edited by StartingToTri 2007-02-23 7:05 AM |

Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Instead of the frequent foods being on a rolling 2 weeks, we increased it to 4 weeks so that you should have more contrast. What the issue was was that Mellons, and Bread, and Labrea loaf all have a frequency of #2 so it’s up in the air which ones might be included. Champion ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Let this work through for another 2 weeks, then see how it is picking up your frequent foods after that and checking...I'm sure we can tweak as needed. |
