Subject: Site suggestions

I'm new to BT and recently became a Silver member. I've been moving around the website trying to figure out how to navigate most efficiently. In doing that I have come up with some suggestions. I first want to say that you (Ron/Mike/whoever else) have done a great job setting this up, especially since this probably isn't your primary job.

It's a little confusing to navigate around to me. I like that the main bar at the top remains the same throught all pages. What would be nice to see is a 'sub-menu' below that that gives a quick link to things we use most (i.e. nutrition log, actual log, etc.).

In the nutrition section... it's a great thing to be able to build a meal for quick reference. I built one and saved it and then realized i left out an ingredient. I went to edit it and found that not only do i not know what the initial ingredients were in the recipe, i can't edit the amounts nor add any additional ingredients. Ideally, it would be great to be able to do that.

I thought of more suggestions earlier and can't remember them. is there a better way to make these suggestions than this forum?

Thanks for working on this guys

Capt,

You are correct, we do need to work on the navigation.  What started as a 'few add-on's' to the existing template years ago, instead now we are way past pushing the boundaries.

I have been working on a new template design the last several months where the focus will be on navigation and userability.  It's going to take awhile (though sometime this year) and I plan to have a major user testing period before it actually goes live to address most peoples issues.

I will see what we can do on further editing 'recipes', if it's simple, maybe we can add it in quick, if it's more complex, it will be part of a later nutrition logging re-vamping.

Thanks for the suggestions, this is the forum to do it in.
