WOW!  A whole new thread to post on...it took me a while to read thru the last thread...there were so many yummy  very informative postings about Michael and Lance running....I learned a lot about technique...yea, that's it.

I did a swim today, (not a run day).  We've got a wierd spell of warmness so I get to run for lunch tomorrow!  I am SO looking forward to running outside...in the daylight!

Hope everyone is well, and running!

Hi All....

Wanted you to know that even though it took me half the day to drag my butzky out to run...I finally did. I ended up running further then I ever imagined I could at this point. I started with my regular 4 mile loop in the hood and then extended the loop with the Bay trail loop that is 3 miles out and back. I ran against the wind on the way out and had the wind pushing me back for my run back to the house...this was a little trick I used to do when I was training on my mtn bike...I figure always go upwind so that the wind will blow you home! seemed to help a bit today...I kept an OK pace for me....slow, but consistent!

Only had a few second stops for equipment adjustments....otherwise ran the entire 7 miles. I just have to keep remembering what my really competitive brother says to me daily...GREAT JOB! but do not overdo it! So, tomorrow it is time to swim and go for a long walk with my Kali dog at Ocean beach!

Promise me, no more 11 hour days;l make sure to take your breaks and to eat some fish lunch!!! and you know where I am heading with this right!?!?! when you get home after a hilatious 11 hour day with no breaks, and no lunch.....DO NOT answer the phone unless you have caller ID and you see it is INDEED not work! Have a great evening and once again...thanks for the encouragement! Dee ROCKS!
