This is my backup race.

I am planning on doing Tucson (It is the same day as CIM) but if something changes, I might do this one instead.

My biggest issue with this race is that they close registration a week or two before the race. I am doing Santa Clarita 4 weeks before and won't be able to commit/register until I am sure I am recovered and ready to race.

I can register for Tucson right up to the day before

I might do it. I've done it twice before. Its a well run race on a pretty flat course. It can be very cold (was low 30s one year I did it) at the start at that time of year.

I am actually thinking about this one. This would be my first. I am looking for my first 70.3 around september or October and it depends on how things go on that that i might go for it or not
