Swim
Comments: This swim was a lot harder than in the swimming pool, although the final time 15:33 min was almost the same. What would you do differently?: don't start in the middle of the group, try to start completely at the right or at the left, so you have more space to swim and you can really take your own ritme. Transition 1
Comments: quite easy transition. Didn't have any bike shoes, so put on the running shoes (with socks) directly. As I prepaired a towel before, I think this transition went really fine. No problems to find the bike back What would you do differently?: maybe try without socks... Bike
Comments: Prepairing this triathlon part (in the meanwhile I bought a bike) and try to go a bit faster. Maybe put some counter on the bike to have the speed at every moment. What would you do differently?: go faster. I didn't feel anything in the legs when I started running, although everybody warned me for it! A clear sign I biked too slow. Transition 2
Comments: perfect transicion. As I had already my running shoes on, I didn't have to change anything and didn't lose any time. What would you do differently?: / Run
Comments: I started in my usual ritme and kept it until the end (small sprint for last 100m). Unfortunatly we didn't have a lot of space to pass other competitors. So I'm sure I lost some time and energy going from the right of the road to the left trying to pass them. Not a lot we can do about it. What would you do differently?: Maybe take a last energy bar just before ending the bike, especially for longer triathlons. Post race

The race started at 8:45 AM, I woke up at 5pm (had still to bring the sister to the airport). I thought I would be a bit sleepy, but didn't feel anything... The adrenaline of the first triathlon probably...
Swimming about 100 m in the sea, to get used to the temperature of the water, also to the rtiathlon suite and to be busy.
