I may stroll down to LBS to "just look."  Wife and kids are out of town this weekend, which could be very dangerous.

Tax Free Weekend is a marketing gimmick. 5% discount on a weekend when otherwise most stores would be offering much bigger ones this time of year.

How about new bike?

I'm getting a Gunnar Crosshairs, Cyclecross bike...paying for it this weekend and will get it the week after Cranberry. I ordered it just before Ironman Lake Placid but they build each one to order and I picked a custom color...hot pink.

I recall I bought a new bike last year's tax free weekend...my Orbea.

Wonder what I'll need in '09?
