I've just purchased spira shoes as I am struggling with foot injury. Their technology is supposed to decrease impact stress using springs inside the shoes. Anyone have experience with these running shoes?

I have two pair of Spiras. The shoes worked fine for me. The black rubber on the soles is very soft. I wore out the right heal rubber by wearing the shoes driving my car so I quit wearing them for running.

My DPM sells mostly Spira walking shoes that her patients really like.

I have worn them before and really liked them. Lots of cushion and good support.

I have a pair that I really like. My husband swears their gimmicky and will cause me more injuries, but I swear, the T2 never felt better than in these shoes. Interestingly, he ran behind me a couple times, and noticed my extreme over-pronation, (which I have since seen in race photos myself), something I apparently do not do in other shoes. I was convinced to move back into a traditional pair, and have had nothing but problems in the new ones. I can't explain it. But, I LOVE my spiras, and I'm going back to them.
