New user  149  |  Subject: Cyclometer Wiring- How to remain Aero?Yesterday I stepped up and pulled the trigger on a P2. What a difference a properly fitting bike makes! My question is, what is the best way to run a wired cyclometer-cadience+speed- while remaining aero? For the Speedo I intend to follow the front brake cable to the inside of the fork. Cadence sensor is the tricky one, on the P2 the cables are run internally so I can't follow them on the down tube to the crank. I don't know if running them externally makes sense. So am I better off putting in a few more bucks to go wireless? |

Seriously tho, I was reading a few articles around the net and here commenting on how people can negate their aerodynamics by wearing loose clothing, poor bib placement, helmets, ect. So I figured that coiled wires and zip ties would all disrupt airflow over the frame create turbulence and thus drag.- Maybe I'm going overboard but better to ask the question now then find out the hard way.

Expert 1049 Burnaby, BC | Subject: RE: Cyclometer Wiring- How to remain Aero? I'm going to assume you have a trainer for the winter months as well. Go wireless and put the speedo pickup on the rear wheel so it works indoors and out. Why mess up a beautiful aero bike with cable ties and wires? |
