Subject: School starts too early....

so my August vacation had to be set back a week.  I had originally planned my week to coincide the the Timberman 1/2 IM, but just found out that my son has college orientation and my daughter has band camp the last week in August. 

I am PISSSSSEEEEDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!   I was lucky that the owners of the cottage had the earlier week available so we just switched the dates.

Now I have no place to stay on Saturday night into Sunday for the 1/2 IM, and after paying the rent for the cottage, it would be hard to justify another night at a hotel just so I can race.  I guess I'll have to look closer to home for another race, but I'm not happy

It's understandable that you're pissed, but as someone who takes her little sister to camp, and moved her brother into his first dorm room, your kids would miss you if you weren't there.
