MS 150 Houston to Austin 4/18/09-4/19-09

My boss and a couple of the guys in my office do it every year, and it DOES sell out early. Not sure why, but it does. They almost missed getting in last year.

My husband did it this spring. If I remember, it was sold out by Thanksgiving last year, if not earlier. If you are interested, you need to get signed up as soon as the ride opens up.

Sells out quickly.  Very popular ride.  We rode it last year and will do so again this coming year.  I think sign in opened Oct 1st last year and was sold out by the end of Oct.  Sign in for this year has not been announced yet that I have seen but expect it to go very fast.

This year is also the 25th anniversary of the MS 150, so it's expected to sell out even faster than usual. One thing you can do is look for a team to join, which makes logistics soooo much easier and the ride more fun, and also look at booking a hotel now. Seriously, they sell out of rooms before the ride opens for registration. Year before last we had to take a trip 60 miles to our hotel from the day one stop. No joke--it was ridiculous. I'm camping this year at the day one end point in La Grange.

I can't remember how quickly it sold out last year, but it was within a couple of weeks.  Sign up early!
