Subject: NY / NJ Based team looking for Reach The Beach Relay members

We are a NY/NJ based co-ed team. Currently 5 men, 5 women aged 25-42. We had a full team of 12 for the Reach The Beach Relay 9/12 - 9/13 in New Hampshire (http://www.rtbrelay.com/index.php) but two of our teammates had to drop. We all run around 7:30 - 8:00 / mile pace for half-marathons. We're all marathoners and some ultra-marathoners too. We're taking the train up to New Haven, CT on Thursday 9/11 to pickup our vans and the race is Friday morning. If you are interested PLEASE contact me.

Reason #756 Why it's cool not to have a girlfriend... you can go to new hampshire on a whim and do a 28 hour relay with 11 complete strangers.

reason # 8 to have a cool girlfriend who does these races with you..... you can go to new hampshire after a year of planning and do a 28 hour relay with your girlfriend, 9 friends and 1 complete stranger.

Reason #385 to NOT be a tax accountant...it doesn't matter whether you have a cool/nagging girlfriend/wife because you will be at work all the time and have to miss out on cool races anyway.

You guys are lucky to get Baity (seriously), good guy, very fast. Just be prepared that he may get drunk before, during and/or after the race but it will in no way effect is racing ability (in fact, the theory is that it will actually improve). Also, there is a very good chance he will get hit by a car (oh wait, that is only when cycling so you should be fine).
