That would have been smart ( which is obviously not me or else I wouldn't have a broken ride ). I didn't even think of that. I have already taken it in for surgery. It didn't look too bad, but as soon as you tried to turn the bars, the wheel stayed put. It is cracked inside the stem or something. The guys at the shop said it happens all the time and it shouldn't be a big deal.
I promptly went to the other bike shop and got the info on the new tri bike I am wanting.
