Can anyone explain why I have this very irritating pain in my groin?  I have developed a soreness, I don't really want to call it pain, it is more of a soreness or a discomfort between my scrotum and rear-end?  Makes me wonder if my prostate is taking a beating on the bike, is it not fitted properly or should I simply begin looking for another saddle.  I am a Clyde so (the added weight in the saddle) I am sure has something to do with it.

I know it's probably a silly question but I am a newbie and dont want to do any damage if it can be avoided.

Hi there
Have your doctor check you for inguinal hernias. This can cause the pain you are describing and can also cause burning pain at the groin, especially after long periods of standing, etc.
Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the advice... will get it check.  Could just possibly be the angle of the saddle so I am also going to get my fitting checked.
