I'm attaching a flyer for a duathlon (5k, 22mile, 1 mile) they are having on November 15th in Ridgeland.  I don't know much else about it, but it looks like a fun event.  I won't be seeing any of you out there, though.  I'm sorta getting hitched that day

The "Run"dezvous and Bike Too Duathlon is going to be held Saturday, November 15 and is in it's inaugural year and the first duathlon for the Jackson metro area. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. with the transition area opening at 6:30 a.m. The race is USAT sanctioned and is a 5K run, 22 K bike and one mile run. It's great for beginners or for even the most avid racer! It's definitely worth the cause!

The race is open to the first 200 participants and is filling up fast! There is NO race day registration. Race registration forms can be picked up at Fleet Feet or Indian Cycle. Online registration is open at www.mchscares.org.

Proceeds raised from the race will benefit Mississippi Children's Home Services, a nonprofit agency serving abused and neglected children and youth. If you have any questions about the race, feel free to call me on my cell at 601-750-3316.
