Subject: BRICK?

I give up What is a BRICK?

I keep seeing doing bricks, but I have know idea what it means.

 Could someone educate me

A BRICK is usually a bike workout followed by a run workout. Simulates the two events in a TRI.

Bike Run Ick is a popular acronym

It's also how your legs feel when you transition from bike to run - heavy, like bricks

Popular legend has it that a world class triathlete/duathlete from the early/mid '80s Dr. Matt Brick was known for his hardcore training methods, which included insane bike/run training sessions that soon were referred to as "doing a brick".

answer, acronym, and history lesson. all in 20 minutes

I am a long way from that point although a couple days a week I go from Stationary bike to treadmill., does that count.
