Subject: Training Log RSS Feed

Hello,

 

My training log RSS feed worked for a couple of weeks and then stopped.  Is there something wrong with it or am I doing something wrong?

 

I am using Google Reader, and the google plugin for igoogle, to read the RSS but I'm not getting anything since then.

 I'm currently still a free member if that is the issue.

 

I realize this isn't a lot of information sorry.

I think it's because your log is set to private...your logs need to be public for RSS feeds since RSS bypasses any security.

Ron.

I changed the setting under privacy to allow guests of the site.  But I am fairly certain that the friend only setting was there since the beginning, Sept 1st.  I'll see if this helps.

I think it's more than that.  My log has never been private and I've noticed that it won't update for days, then I'll get like a week at a time.

Let us know the next time you don't get updates when you have updated your log that day and we'll check it out.

Ron,

 I modify my log every day but Saturday for work outs.  I didn't get anything through the RSS today.  Noticing your post about more information I decided to try to update my control panel settings to allow guests to view my data.  I removed the allow guests and added it back on and the RSS updated.

 

Not sure if that will help at all.

I added your rss feed to google reader..so far it is up to date, let me know if it fails in your reader and I will compare to the google feed reader to see if it updated.
