Anyone else here do this event?

My experience is limited, but I think they did a very nice job.

Ton of volunteers. Large turn-out for an inaugural event (over 2,300 finishers for the 13.1, and more than 1,000 for the 5k). Parking was kind of a pain.

Powerade at some stations (note to self: blue Powerade + strawberry Gu = wanting to puke).

The course was a bit hilly for me, since I am used to running on pancake flat roads. It was nice to run a couple of (shorter) sections on trails vs. pavement.

The weather was perfect. Nice finisher medals and nice tech t-shirt.

Yeah I completely agree. The race itself was a nice course. I am used to flat roads as well. But I ran out a Kensington a few times and I think it helped.

Overall, well run race. Would do it again next year!

I ran it and set a Half Mary PR!  It was a great fun race.  I am in for 2009.

I would think that would be a tough course to set a PR on!

Congratulations!
