Hmmmm....I was going to do the Alpharetta Century (lowest mileage option) but as a beginner rider, perhaps this would be more valuable to me

If you want copies of the handouts refered to in the e-mail, send me a note and I'll forward them to you.

Hello Everyone,

Attach ed , please find two handouts on Group Riding Etiquette and Riding in a Double Pace-Line. Please read these handouts prior to coming to the clinic so that you have an idea of what we will be doing. Having knowl ed ge and understanding these will increase the learning curve and make the clinic more enjoyable and safer for everyone.

8:50AM – Meet-n-Greet with breakfast & coffee.

9:10AM – Short Discussion and Clinic Instructions

9:30AM – Get on our bikes and start the ride clinic.

Starting off, we will break everyone up in to pairs for you to work on riding 2 abreast (side-by-side) and drafting each other.

Then, we will group pairs into groups of about 6 riders to work on riding in a rotating (single & double) pace-line and drafting in a larger group.

Lastly, we will group everyone together as one large group to work on riding in a double, rotating pace-line and drafting in an even larger group.

Throughout the clinic we will be watching riders and offering advice on climbing, descending & cornering.

As always, please feel free to ask any questions. There are no dumb questions!

Please show up mostly dress ed and ready to ride with your bike ready to go. Also, if you have invit ed someone to the clinic, please forward this email to them to ensure they are also prepar ed .

* * * If you invit ed a guest, please make sure that you forward this email to that person so they are also prepar ed for the clinic. Thank you.

Thank you and see everyone Saturday.

Regards,
Eric Neely
