Anyone doing the Seaside Heights half mary this weekend? I'll be there. Wondering if anyone knows if there is early race packet pick-up.

The application indicates half-marathon starts at 10:00. I sent email to Ocean Running Club since their web site and the Half Mary's web site do not state anything about packet/number pick up. Yet to receive a reply. Since Sunday registration opens at 8:00, I guess I'll cruise down around 9:00.

Anybody else run this yesterday? Those winds were brutal I thought they were bad in the park, the unprotected boardwalk showed no mercy. Toughest 1/2 mary I ever ran!

I never ran anything like that before. It was my first half and brutal. The winds really killed my PR

Good job both in surviving treacherous conditions.  I was thinking about adding this one but opted not to and to be honest -reading your reports - I am glad.  (Did a hilly 60 mile bike instead!)

I regularly run Island Beach, and can empathize with those winds. Good job on a tough race
