Found this site looking for a good training log, found a great training log and more. After 18 years of jobs and kids and not much else, I take up ice hockey at 38 and now an Olympic Tri at 41. I rode time trials as a teen and ran cross country in HS so the endurance background is good, however getting the cardio back has been a struggle. I'm also posting my first message ever on any forum so the beginner tri community must be doing something right!

See you on the roads!

hiya CC.  Sounds like we have a lot in common. I started playing ice hockey at 36 and will do my first Oly event this year at the ripe old age of 41.  It's fun to have a life again now that the kids are older.  I haven't skated in a while tho and doubt I'll be going back to it, lots of mitigating circumstances.

Anyhow, make sure you check out all the features on this site, it is amazing!

Thanks for the comments! Paid entry fee to Americas Triathlon May 31 Austin Texas. I know if I spent $$$ I'll follow through. Will do Capital 10k in Austin Mar 28 as part of training. Having trouble getting off my bike in the recommended training time so will probably overdo the bike training somewhat. Love-to-ride. Spring hockey starts up next week, hope my team doesn't mind me showing up to play at 60% on my swim/ride day.
