You can wear a tri suit, which is something you swim, bike & run in. When I started all I would wear was some tri-shorts over my bathers and a sports bra. I'd do the whole thing in that get-up. Bike pants with a chamois are fine. Tri-pants also have a chamois but its thinner than a normal bike-pant chamois so it dries quickly after the swim.

Have fun! You'll be fine! And you'll probably be hooked in no time and back for more

will do some investigating into the tri suits you mentioned

this is like a whole new world i cant just go to the local sports shop to buy what i need

Find a good bike shop and they will be able to help you out! 

Otherwise get online! Ive been buying my gear recently from the 2XU website online and they send everything express post so yuo get it within a couple of days which is awesome! 

Other brands you might want to look at online include orca and jaggad.
