The sprint on Saturaday will be my first tri, following up on Sunday with my second tri (the quarter). Generally, I think I can recover well for Sunday if I don't kill my legs on Saturday's bike by pushing too hard. I've set personal goals for both events, which I think are attainable but they may just be pie in the sky. I imagine it's one of those things that you just don't know until you've tried it. I'm super excited though as I have three friends/family doing the sprint (also first timers) and a training partner who's doing the quarter. I know key to recovery will be adequate hydration and stretching, but if anyone has additional tips for ensuring good recovery, I would appreciate it? Thanks. Mark |
