Comments: I had a hard time breaking through the crowd near the beginning. I should've started with the 7 min pace. Run felt great until the last 1/2 mile when my legs started feeling like jello. Felt fine again within 10 seconds after race. This race was a PR for me! :) What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race Warm down: stretched, drank some Amino Vital and water, ate a power bar, and then headed to the beer garden! Event comments: This was a fantastic race! It was well organized and tons of fun. On top of my own PR, I got to watch the elite racers run, with the women's 1st place winner tying the 5k World Record. 14:51...Amazing!!! Last updated: 2005-04-04 12:00 AM |
