Swim
Comments: I basically did a race in April(Wind Triathlon) that was the same course with the swim last, so I can compare the two. My arms did not feel heavy like they did then and I felt like I had a lot more energy. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 1
Comments: This was the run to bike transition, since it was a reverse tri. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Bike
Comments: This is the best that I have done on the bike leg. Getting >16mph is good for me. What would you do differently?: Nothing, except get clipless pedals. Transition 2
Comments: This transition was from bike to swim. I had some problems getting my bike gloves off, so that is why I was slow. Run
Comments: This was not a good run. I had been having a little pain in my right achilles tendon & hamstring this past week, which I had been trying to nurse back to health. I was concerned that it would get worse if I ran too hard. What would you do differently?: I should take a water bottle with me, because my mouth dried out real fast and there was only one water station. Drink more water. Post race
Warm down: I stretched out afterwards. What limited your ability to perform faster: Recovering from injuries. Last updated: 2009-04-12 12:00 AM
