Subject: Open Water Swim
Just wondering where to get open water swim time in the Fort Wayne area? I am preparing for my 1st sprint tri in Muncie and would like to spend some practice time out of the pool before hand.

Try Fox Island.  I was just there today and it was great.  The water is clean and you have several points of entry to use.

Huntington State park, Turtle Beach. Water is not as clear as I'd like but it's a beach that's roped off, so it is someplace where you can swim alone, or while the kids play in the sand.
