Any suggestions on how to deal with a pulled hamstring muscle? Ice ? Heat? or just whine and wait for it to go away on its own

What grade is it?

Read this for some info.  But in the 1st 48 hours cold wrap it!

Looks like the site has shifted to pay for some of the info, like the rehab part.  I PDF'd the page when I had my injury in 07, it's attached.

only way it heals is rest. don't try and come back from it too early else you'll injure it again.

First 48 hours, rest, heat, and anti-inflammatories.  See a sports medicine specialist for more aggressive trx.

After that, get to a good PT.  Then, try to get involved 1x weekly in a power yoga class.  It will do wonders with strengthening muscles and ligaments that are rarely used, and it will help with your flexibility.

But, hamstring pulls do take time.
