Subject: October 3-4 Weekend - Any good Midwest 1/2 IM's or Marathons?
I am looking for a good event the weekend of Oct 3-4 - either a half marathon, full marathon or half IM - anyone doing one of those in the Midwest not too far from Chicago? I can't seem to find anything out there within a 100-200 miles.

I don't know if there are any slots open, but the Twin Cities (Minneapolis) Marathon is that weekend.

The Brooksie Way Half Marathon is on Sunday, October 4th in Rochester, MI.  Great race....great location...great, tough course.  It's run by the CRIM Foundation.
