Subject: RE: Polar CS100b Battery DyingThere is a thread on the Polar website forums that deals with this. There are 2 possible causes mentioned. Measure the voltage for the battery, and if it's below 2.5v, the battery is dead, and you have one of the CS100s that have a defective circuit board on it, leaving the radio on even though the LCD is off. This requires return to Polar for replacement, which I just went through and takes about 15-20 days or so. If the battery tests good, there is an issue with the electric contacts/galvation. Use some dielectric grease. |
