I will be in Wilton, NH for a week in July (live in OH).  Are there any good places for open water swims or nice bike trails within 30 minutes of Wilton?

Are you looking for mtn bike trails?  There is a lot of good road riding out there.  For trails check out NEMBA.org.  There are a ton of Trails in Goffstown which is not far, but you would never find them without a local to show you around.  There is Dublin Lake near Mt. Monadnock that could work for OWS.

Road Bike, forgot to specify.  Sorry.  I have only been riding a few months and my wife (even less experience) will be with me so I am looking for nice roads/low traffic rides or paved trails.

Thanks for the tip on Dublin Lake

Rt 101 can be busy headed West towards Keene, but if you take it East towards Amherst there is a big shoulder and pretty flat.  Rt 31 is fun as well headed towards Greenfield and there is Greenfield State Park there with Otter Lake to swim in.
