ironman inspirational quote

awhile ago there was a thread on here where people had inspirational quotes that helped them through long races training etc.

one really stuck with me and I can't find it anywhere! It was something about when you use up everything you've got thats where you find your soul.
anyone remember that thread or that quote? I'm racking my brain trying to remember how someone put it. thanks!
