In Tampa, we have the Flatwoods Wilderness Park multi-use, closed-to-traffic, 7-mile loop that is great for biking.

I am looking for similar looped paths, anywhere in Florida. Does your county have something similar? Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

I ride the Suncoast Trail (and it's much longer than 21 miles).

Really, I'm just looking for other loops within the state.

Not a loop, but Gainesville has the Gainesville-Hawthorne trail.

It's 16 miles through beautifu North Central Florida scenery.  There is even a little hilly section.  There is now also a connector trail that connects it all the way to downtown Gainesville and beyond.  It's one of the biggest things I miss about Gainesville (which is probably the most bike friendly place in Florida).

Here in Pensacola we have a NON-Motorised trail thats 18miles round trip. Its also possible to jump off of it and ride through the statepark (wich you could ride all day or longer).

Polk county has the Van Fleet trail, 29 miles one way all quite rural, flat, and straight. Not really a loop though unless you think of it as a really skinny loop. I ride out there all the time. I nearly always see some form of wildlife, deer, turkeys, snakes, aligators, etc.
