Cranberry Trifest

I'm doing the sprint, it will be my first time up there also.  I did not want to do 2 OLY's in 3 weeks which is why i am doing the sprint. I have heard nothing but great things about the race from people who have done it, and am really looking forward to a weekend with a bunch of Way Cool BT'ers!!

Donna, i don't think the race is the 20th....maybe the 30th???

I am in. Just signed up for the Oly - I wanted to do this race 2 years ago but got pregnant with my daughter. I just did my first ever tri - the Mass State Oly and I am hooked. I wanted to get one more in - so I will be heading up there. My friend and I booked at the Courtyard Marriott! I can not wait! Where in CT are you? We are planning a long ride next weekend - you are welcome to join us!

I am in Danbury, CT (Western side of the state). Do you do all of your training in the Hartford area? I do a lot of training out in the Lake Waramaug area.

Hi Donna! I was just there this weekend and it was incredible. I would love to come up there any time and train. What a great time we had. The swim was great and no words can describe how beautiful the run and bike was. We went up Tanner Hill - which was zone 5 climb for me but the downhill was worth every pedal grind! I wanted ever so badly to swim today but we pretty much ran the lake loop in the rain - my kids had had enough waiting in the rain for me! What a great area!

I had already signed up for the sprint, which is now sold out...and i have decided to do the Oly also, why not make it a full weekend!!!

hopefully i will see you gals this weekend at the group ride, it should be fun!!!

No Way!!! U really r crazy Ur going for that King title, aren't you. I'll be up there with two or three other girls from my training group. We'll be heading up that Friday. Going to be a blast!!!!
