Subject: first entry level bike
ok so with my wal-mart bike falling apart (they don't expect you to actually log miles on it lol) i've narrowed my choices down to a fuji newest 3.0 or a dawes lightning, obviously i'm limited in funds and new to tri'ing, so what would you guys say is the better of the two for a beginner.  i'm a clyde also if that makes a difference.  thanks for the advice.

Those appear to be the same frame re-branded, so it will come down to parts and price.  Bikesdirect.com has some good deals on the Dawes line, but you should be able to get a pretty good deal on a Fuji at your LBS as well.  Let me know if you need help comparing parts, etc.

so i scored a smoking deal on a 2008 specialized roubaix comp at my lbs...omg talk about a 180....my speed has increased 100 fold and its so comfortable i can take longer rides...already have about 50 miles on it.
