Wetsuit Question

Hi!
This is going to be my first tri, it's right down the road which made it not such a scary prospect. Granted that was months ago, and now I'm a little nervous. I was hoping to make some of the training nights, but sadly, I work Tuesday nights!

I know that the water is still a bit cold right now...come race day, would a shorty wetsuit be warm enough, and can anyone recommend a local place that rents a wide range of suit sizes? I'm only5'1" and about 180 lbs which presents a bit of a challenge.
