Subject: First tri in the books!!
Hello All,

Im mostly a lurker here, But I have to share. Today I finished my first tri--olympic--and I finished in about 3:02. (back of pack and I wanted to be under three hours but thrilled with the result.) I can't adequately express in words my appreciation to all on this site who have contributed to my success. I've come here for information, inspiration, and encouragement and I hope someday to return the favor. My next tri is in about 6 weeks and Im sure Ill be back for more. My race report is forthcoming, but my body wants sleep now.

Lou

OK Finally the race report is up.  I finished 30/31 in my age group. 178/252 overall and 127/156 for men. I was 1 minute 30.9 seconds short of my goal of three hours. Not bad, I guess. But that's gonna bug me

I did, thanks! It took me a while to wipe that goofy grin off my face, though.

BTW, what should I be doing the day after. Of course I'm a little sore and taking it very easy. I was planning on taking a nice walk, but should I be doing something a little more?
