What is the Elite Age Group at Lifetime Fitness Tri

Extreme Veteran  438   Surprise, AZ |  Subject: What is the Elite Age Group at Lifetime Fitness TriI was looking at the results for Lifetime Fitness Tri today and they had a Pro and Age Group field and they also had an Elite field. I have never heard of an Elite field. Is this something that you have to qualify for? They had sepearate winners for each field. Is this a new thing? |

It is for amateurs, but they are not eligible for AG placing, just overall. Some will also not give an AG athlete the overall win if they are not registered in the elite wave. And yes, often you have to submit a qualifying time to get accepted into the wave. |
