Subject: bigginner half marathon
my gf is interested in a half marathon in january.  she is currently not doing any running.  any good plans someone could suggest?

she used to run but in the past year and a half she has not been running at all.  thanks.

Hal Higdon has a nice beginner plan on www.halhigdon.com 

 

Also if she wants to run/walk, she can try a Galloway plan, but I prefer the Higdon plans.
