Subject: One Month
I have done several sprint triathlons in the past (last one maybe 10 years, dont laugh)
I was thinking that I would like to do one in about a month and a half with my son, his first.
We are both in decent shape and bike and swim together, we both despise running, ha.
My question to you that have done/are doing this is, is a month an a half enough time to actually jump into this sprint...??? 400m swim, 8mile bike and 5k run?
Thanks for the site, good stuff here...

Absolutely.  Here's my take - If you can do twice the distance in the swim and the run, you can do a sprint tri without killing yourself.  Admittedly, its a rule O'thumb, but its mine and I'm sticking to it.  Besides, you have a chance to do this with your kid. That's reason enough.
