So I am a brain tumor survivor!!!!

I have come to appreciate my life and after two brain surgeries I realize that I was given a second chance to life. I could not think of anything else more challenging to celebrate life than finishing an Ironman.  I will be crossing the finish line in Florida this November... While training for it, I realize that it means little if I keep it to myself.  I want this Ironman effort to count, thus I have decided to raise money for the Brain Tumor foundation.   A foundation that provides research money for brain tumor research, but most importantly it also provides support for people that are living with brain tumors and their families.  God knows how hard a brain tumor is on the patient, but it is almost as hard or harder on the family.   Please visit my page and help me to raise money to alleviate the pain of people living with brain tumors..

Luis, I don't know what to say without sounding trite. I am humbled by your strength. You not only are strong in your training, you lend inspiration and guidance to sucky runners (me!) and are reaching out to help battle cancer. You are an impressive human being. I will be there in PCB to cheer you on (Ovetta and I are sharing a room!). I've lost dear friends to cancer and will gladly support your cause.
