Master  2314   Gulf Shores, AL |  Subject: Alabama Coastal Triathlon - September 19Team Magic will be putting on there 3rd Alabama Coastal Triathlon this year on September 19th in Gulf Shores, AL. The race is olympic distance with a gulf swim. They are also introducing a Try it On Race which is 300 yard swim, 9 mile bike and 2 mile run. Is the swim an out and back or along the beach? Also, what kind of chop are we looking at? Thanx in advance |

Thanx in advance[/QUOTE They moved the course this year but I expect it will out 300 across 400 in 300 or something close to that. The chop is totally unknown. 2 years ago it was glass, last year they had to cancel the swim because it was to ruff. Thats not much help. Its usually pretty easy to swim in but its the gulf so u never know. The bike is super flat but sometimes windy. Run is hot but scenic. Look forward to seeing you there. |
