Subject: Long run Saturday morning in Madison?

I am looking to run 14-15 miles early Saturday morning and my regular running partners are both going to be out of town (even though I don't recall giving them permission to leave).  I was hoping someone else would like to run Saturday around 5 or 6am at a fairly slow pace (9-10 minute miles).  I could go a little longer than 15 miles if anyone was going a little longer.

This could be doable if I don't hear back about my son's Iowa b-ball tourney.

That would be GREAT and I could really use the company.  Let me know.  I'll keep an eye on the posts.

They cancelled the Iowa tourney for lack of teams, and now our team is looking at getting into some tourney in Appleton at the last second.  I said to he11 with that and said we aren't going.

So, when do you wanna start and where?

I have a couple of suggestions:
1). Ironman run course - Park for free at my work and we'll hit the course.
2). Come out to Marshall - I have a number of loop routes at my house that have some decent rollers.  If we do all but one particular loop, we can use the use as a stop and refuel.

Either of those would work or we could park at my office on the corner of Wisconsin Ave and Dayton Street.

How long are the loops by your house?

I usually like to start by 6AM to avoid the worst of the heat for the day.

I have 2 different 6 milers, and one 10-miler.  The 10-miler has some good hills.  We can incorporate a couple of different out and backs on those, too.  I did a 4 x 5 mile for a long run once on the "easier" setup route.
