Subject: Biking in Miami
I need help from anybody that lives or bikes in Miami. I am going to be in Miami a week from Saturday and need to ride. I am a corporate pilot that is subject to a few hours call out so I am looking for someplace kinda close to Miami International. I need to put in about 100 miles (IMKY coming up) so I am thinking about several 25 mile loops or ???? . If I have to do 20 - five mile loops I am good with that too as long as its safe. Just need the miles.

What I am looking for is local knowledge of where to ride that is as SAFE as possible. If there isn't someplace close I will have a car and can drive.

I was down there for a bit and there is a toll that takes you into Key Biscaye right around Miami. I only rode this twice and raced on it once, but it is very rider friendly. I think it is around 20 mile loop or so

there is loop and ALOT of triathlons are held there.  there are 2 bridges there and the loop is about 15 miles with (virgina key).  you will see alot of bikers there since its next to the beach.  its called triathlete beach since EVERYONE and their grandmother does tri clinics there and tri teams practice there.  easy access to ocean, nice bike ride and place to run. 

just so you are not disappointed, its not the niceest of beaches, but for biking its quite great.
