Just thought I'd post in this thread since Greenfield is less than 45 minutes away from Keene.
 Greenfield Tri

I did this tri last year as my first and I am looking forward to doing it again.  Its a great course for the beginner and skilled alike.  The swim is an OWS is a river (even though it's called a pool)  It's not that deep.  You can pretty much stand up at anytime.  Except at the turn by the dam.  Then its 6 1/2 feet deep.
The bike course is 2 7.5 mile loops for sprint and 4 loops for Int.  The course is open to traffic, but they control the cars really well.  There is a covered bridge to go over and then a steep hill, but it's all down hill from there.  There's also a big hill at the beginning.  Also, the transition area is pre assigned
The run for the sprint is a relatively flat and the run for the Int is the bike loop.

There's still space for both races and you can register on Saturday.  There are nearby hotels too. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
