Subject: female specific bike shorts
Are there any bike shorts out there designed especially for women? I've found that unisex shorts don't do much and that longer rides become especially uncomfortable. Any women out there have some suggestions?

There are women's specific cycling shorts from dozens on manufacturers. Where have you looked? Check TriSports.com or anywhere really, my LBS has a women's short rack that is a big as the men's.

My favorites are the low rider shorts.  I've ridden 2 day rides in them and been very comfortable.

Most brands if not all come in women sizes.

My favorite bike shorts:

Shebeest SSS shorts
DeSoto 400 mile shorts-best but expensive
Sugoi  RS cycling shorts
Terry Bella shorts

You get what yo pay for, spending $75+ will get you better shorts for sure, most that I like are retail $100 or more so I try and get them when they are on sale.
