Subject: PowerTap: which wheel?
I have seen that most of the powertap+wheel offers on the web are proposing Mavic Open Pro model which seems to be pretty good for training while for racing I would use something else so, definetely, I should go for another option. Zipp 404 can be the option but I see it very expensive.
What do you suggest?
I even have Mavic Carbon clincher wheelset but my LBS told me that it would be very expensive to mount the powertap on it...is that true???

Good morning,

SO I have a pair of ZIpp 404's w.o the power tap that I am happ with. I also purchased a pair of Bontrager Aeolus 6.5's with Power tp functionality. I  like the Zipp 404's per haps a little bit better, but in terms of value I am very pleased with the Bontrager's.  My next purchase, not any time soon unless I find some crazy deal, will be another pair of Aeolus's.

there are several SL Wireless models with PRO, ELITE, SL+, etc. and sometimes they are not specified on the website and it is still hard for me understanding the real differences among all of them but the price has a big difference!
For example on this link
