Who's in??  I am hoping this is going to be loads of fun.  I looked up a couple of past race reports - but they were not very detailed, so I am not really sure what to expect for the obstacles.  Anyone have any input?

I'm in too!!  This is my first year and I'm a bit apprehensive and a LOT excited...anyone going to the pre-party on Saturday? I'd love to meet up with fellow BTers!

I'll be there, third year for me. Let's hope it doesn't get too muddy, the first year I did it, I ended up carrying my bike as much as riding it because it had rained all week before the race. That was not fun, but it was great last year. It's definitely a fun race.

I am hoping they have some new obstacles, they've been the same the past two years, a wall climb, balance beam, an A frame thing you have to crawl over, there's something else I'm forgetting, and, of course, the mud pit.

I wish we could make it to the Saturday pre-party, but I have some company arriving that night.  Perhaps we'll bump elbows at the beer garden after the race!

I'll be wearing my usual dreadlocks hat on top of my helmet.  A little tribute to my late mom who wore it when she lost her hair to chemo!

That was an absolute blast.  How did everyone do?  My favorite part was on the second leg of the run, coming up to a pretty big mud patch that people were skirting around.  I decided I would just go for it and leap over it, knowing I would be just a bit short, but figured I'd get accross with my second step.  So I leapt across and sure enough I was short, but made it with the second step.  However my shoe did not make it with me as it slipped off and was stuck two inches deep in the mud.  So I to tromp back in the mud shoeless, and then I could barely get it out!  I was glad to be the primary runner as the middle bike leg was brutal!  What a great time.

Yes it was a blast!!  That happened to me too!  But I wasn't jumping...just running with my bike. It took 3 tugs to get my shoe out!!

Waiting for the results to be posted - my team was overlooked in the printed out results for some reason...?!!?
