Comments: I performed quite well on all the hills and was able to keep better pace on the flats due to the new training on flats. The main problem is that there are so many people that you end up bobbing and weaving and sometimes running into people on the course which sucks. A* and my first mile was arond the 10 min mark which was so off but we picked it up when it spread out. Another thing that pissed alot runners off is that there were alot of people walking the run course and not walking the walkers course. They would form a wall that you would have to bust thru. That was a big hinderance. What would you do differently?: I wouldn't do a 25 mile bike ride the day before. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Walked around and waited for our group. Grabbed a few Bananas and 3 bottles of water. What limited your ability to perform faster: People in my way and mentally think the course was longer thhan it actually was. Event comments: PR.....woohoo Last updated: 2005-05-08 12:00 AM

Got up early for the race took a shower to warm up the muscles...did intial stretches in the shower. Got dressed..stretch through some Yoga poses for 20 mins. I forced myself to eat a piece of WW bread with PB, I also had a GU pack.
There were so many people its hard to do any additional warming up. This race I madesure that I was dress appropriately.
