Subject: PT recommendations?
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question, so sorry if it belongs in "injury" forum.

Anyway, does anybody have a PT that they recommend in the central MN area? I have some running/cycling overuse injuries that I'm mending. As I'm coming into the off-season, I'd like to get them resolved and figure out how to prevent them in the first place.

Sometimes it seems like therapy can be hit-or-miss; depending on the PT and their expericence working with certain athletes. I live in the St. Cloud area - any recommendations?

Thanks

If you are up for a bit of a drive, I like the Institue for Athletic Medicine from Fairview http://www.athletic-medicine.org/Clinics/index.asp).I think they have clinics in Plymouth and Maple Grove, which may be a bit closer to you...

I know you said St. Cloud but just in case you're willing to drive to the north metro you might consider OSI -

http://www.osipt.com/asp_pages/osi_home.asp

My wife has been going to them for a couple months and they've helped her a ton with her SI joint issues.

I have personal experience with the IAM as they helped with my ITBS early this spring that has allowed me to start off tris and continue to run marathons.  (I also just did some marketing with them earlier this summer) but they are not paying me at all to say that I had a good experience there, just figured I would pass it on.

I have heard good things about TRIA in Edina, a bit of a drive for you.

Thank's for the recommendations! I'll take a look at these.
I don't mind a little drive if I can get back to 100%.
Nothing like your anatomy telling that you've been overtraining!

If it sways your decision at all... IAM has runner-specific clinics, as well as a cycle fit program.

Where can I find a list of these services? I live in Circle Pines, so the Blaine clinic would be the closest to me. I have been having MCL issues since doing the TC marathon last year. I take time off, and things seem to get better, then as I ramp up the MCL starts to flair up. The only running I have done in the last 6 weeks was the 5k at Chisago.
