Subject: Free kid's triathlon this weekend in Grapevine
I just sign up my 8 year old daughter and this will be her first Tri. She has seen mom and dad race over the last few years and has begged me to find one for her.

This is the cheapest race I have ever signed up for!

Please let us know how it went! The two people who created that race on are on my University triathlon team and they went to enormous efforts to try and make this a success. I'd be interested in knowing how it turned out from a spectator's point of view!!

It was very well organized and ran smoothly. Coach Shaun had a bit of trouble with the PA system in the pool area. He was unitelligible for the most part. The kids all seemed to have a good time and my wife and I were very proud for our daughter to have such a wonderful first experience with the sport. She is pumped and wants to join the youth tri-club.

How wonderful!  I can't for my daughters to join us but they are a little too young for most events quite yet at ages 3, 5, and 6!
